WAYNE GORDON

NCCP V, ABA, 1 STAR

With over 53 years of experience, Wayne Gordon began coaching full time back in 1989.

From his first boxing match in 1969, Wayne’s passion for the sport has only grown. His dedication and commitment to boxing has earned him multiple national titles in every age category. After competing on Team Canada for four years, Wayne was chosen to be the Captain of the 1984 Olympic Boxing Team.

Wayne’s personal experience and extensive knowledge of fitness makes him an all-star coach. In addition to coaching 3 Olympic teams, Wayne’s athletes have gone on to win medals in all of the major games including the World Juniors, Commonwealth, Pan American, and the Olympics.

With Wayne’s easy-going attitude, targeted recommendations and competitive approach – it’s no wonder that Citadel boxing has produced more olympians in the past 50 years than most clubs in Canada.
